About BrimWall.

A cybersecurity M&A firm built for the part of the market the large cyber banks won't staff: the deals below $50M, where most of the industry actually trades.

Why this firm exists

Cybersecurity M&A coverage is barbell-shaped in the wrong direction. The specialist banks staff the mega-deals. The founders running $2M to $50M ARR security companies, where most of the industry's transactions actually happen, get generalist brokers who have never read a SOC 2 report or priced a retention curve in this sector.

BrimWall exists to be the specialist at the size where the deals are. One sector, cybersecurity and security-adjacent software and services. One market, the lower middle. One client per deal, always.

Who runs your deal

Barry Pogson founded BrimWall after 15+ years on the other side of the table. At Constellation Software's CORA Group he executed software acquisitions as the buyer. At Razorhorse Capital he originated deals across North America, Europe, and Australia for strategic and private equity clients. Across that career: 42 transactions, from first call to close.

That history is the product. BrimWall knows what buyers screen for, how they model retention, where diligence kills deals, and what a credible offer looks like from the inside, because we spent years writing them.

There is no analyst pool and no handoff. The partner you meet on the first call runs the mandate to close.

How we run

One client per deal. We never advise both sides of the same transaction and never take a fee from the party across the table. Every mandate runs under NDA and a codename, and no buyer learns a client's name before the client approves it. Fees are stated plainly on the services page, and the first conversation is free, including when the honest answer is "not yet."

Start with the honest read.

One confidential call, free. What your company is worth, who the likely buyers are, and whether now is the time, even if the answer is not yet.
